The normal sequence of operations required when producing high quality electropolished finishes on stainless steel are outlined in a flow diagram. The purpose of each step is detailed, along with general control procedures.

 
 Equipment for Electropolishing
MCP process equipment systems range from 5-25 gallon "Console" lines or 50-150 gallon "Custom" lines to large automatic production units. Specialty systems include those for electropolishing small parts in bulk, lengths of tubing, and chemical process vessels. Accessories include waste treatment units and ventilating systems with fume scrubbers.

 Electropolishing Ventilation Systems
Describes the corrosion resistant PVC hood and duct systems furnished by MCP for removal of fumes from the electropolishing shop. Systems are designed in accordance with specifications of the American Conference of Governmental Hygienists and meet all applicable OSHA guidelines. Optional fume scrubbers and mist eliminators are also available.
